Catch-Up – Have you been spending so much time trying to GROW your business that you haven’t had a chance to keep up with entering all the financial data? Want to get caught up so you can run reports to actually see how all your hard work is paying off? Need help getting things caught up for quarterly taxes?

Monthly Bookkeeping – Do you have the day to day transaction entries under control for the most part and just want someone to make sure everything is entered correctly, balanced and accounted for in the proper manner each month? According to Salary.com, the median annual wage for a bookkeeping professional equates to about $3,456 per month. Add in taxes and benefits and you’re up to about $4,000 per month. Obviously, your investment in our relationship will be nowhere near this amount. But, I’m not cheap! In fact, I will venture as far to say I’m more expensive than most bookkeepers out there. Why? Because I will get results. I’m more than just a bookkeeping professional; I’m your ally.

Below is a basic idea of where you can expect the package pricing to start. Of course, we will customize it to your individual needs so that you are getting exactly what you need.

Clean-Up – Starts at $1200

Catch-Up – Starts at $800

Monthly Bookkeeping – Starts at $400/mo. There will be additional fees for initial set-up of your account, consult and training.

Each of these packages includes the following:

• Categorize up to 50 transactions per month
• Reconcile statements for up to two accounts (checking, savings, credit card)
• Record and depreciate fixed assets, if necessary
• Prepare quarterly financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement (P&L), and Statement of Cash Flows)
• Annual Reports for Tax Prep
• Monthly virtual meeting (up to 1-hour in length)
• Monthly subscription to cloud accounting software

Add-On Services (additional software subscription may be necessary)

• Accounts Receivable Management/Invoicing
• Accounts Payable Management
• 1099 Preparation
• Consulting/Training

The choice to be a work-from-home mom wasn’t easy, or rather, I should say it wasn‘t made lightly.  I loved my job and I love to interact with people. But being home with my girls while they are growing up and being present for their milestones was definitely more important.

So what did I do pre-kids? I spent 16 years in the traditional workforce – 13 years as a meeting planner, both in the medical field and for a national association, and then 3 years as a Medical Secretary in a very busy fertility practice. I understand the importance of details. I THRIVE on details and organization. Some would say it’s my passion. My family likes to tease that I am the Queen of Spreadsheets.

So yes, I am a very focused and driven person, but I also understand the importance of balance in life. That’s why I chose to be a Virtual Bookkeeping Professional. Helping business owners with their books enables me to relieve some of their burden and gives me the chance to do something organizational and tasky, which I love, all while still keeping the majority of my days open for raising my girls. It’s a win-win, really.

Fun Facts:

• My husband and I met in Kindergarten, lost touch, and reconnected in our late 30’s.
• I have two beautiful daughters, Hazel and Vivian, and I’m thrilled that I get to be a stay-at-home-mama with them!
• The idea of plants growing gives me the heebie jeebies. I especially can’t watch time-lapse photography of plants growing – shivers up my spine. Weird. I know.
